I finally did it. I made a photography name and website!
I'm so excited to really kick off my photography again. Here's my game plan (I'm putting it on the internet so that I can't wimp out of it. ;)) I'm going to do as many shoots as I can while I'm still in Utah. I'm going to advertise like mad and learn all I can from fellow photographers. I'm going to gain lots of experience and learn as I go, constantly working to make my pictures exactly what I want them to be. And finally, I'm going to do blog posts with each new shoot! Pretty good plan, huh? I thought so. I'm hoping that this whole blogging thing gets easier as I go, because right now I just keep staring at the keyboard waiting for words to come to me. I've never been a good journal keeper (despite my father's ardent efforts) so this will probably be a challenge for me at first. But I will persevere! Haha. I already have three photoshoots planned for the next few weeks, so get ready for lots of updates! Since this is my first post, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Coppell, Texas (shout-out to my peeps!) and I'm currently attending Brigham Young University and majoring in Food Science. This December I married my wonderful husband, Evan, who makes me laugh every day with his goofiness and energy. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm so glad we decided to spend our lives together. :) We both graduate this April and will most likely be moving to Houston, Texas. Humidity, here we come! It'll be refreshing after living in a freezing desert for the past four years! Don't get me wrong Utah is GORGEOUS, but it is also dry and, for much of the year, really stinkin cold. Anyways, I love to cook, rock climb, Spin (as in indoor cycling!), and take pictures! I hope you like what you see on my website and continue to come back for more updates!
